The best web browser around !!!!

I all ways loved to use Firefox because of the speed. Firefox also has cool little addons that lets you customize your web browser. Firefox also has a mini download manager. If you get Firefox which i recommend i suggest you get these things-

FIREFOX-
http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/

This is Ad-block plus it blocks most ads on the net depending were you live.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865

This is a speed hack which will make your page loading go a lot faster.

" Here’s something for broadband people that will really speed Firefox up:

1.Type “about:config” into the address bar and hit return. Scroll down and look for the following entries:

network.http.pipelining network.http.proxy.pipelining network.http.pipelining.maxrequests

Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading.

2. Alter the entries as follows:

Set “network.http.pipelining” to “true”

Set “network.http.proxy.pipelining” to “true”

Set “network.http.pipelining.maxrequests” to some number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once.

3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it “nglayout.initialpaint.delay” and set its value to “0″. This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives.

If you’re using a broadband connection you’ll load pages MUCH faster now!"

Have you ever lost a disc for a game and now you cant play it because you need that disc

I remember all the times were i had lost my video game dvd's or cd's and that prevented me from playing the games. well now there is a way to get around that. it works for most of the games on the market. it is a file that does not require you to play your games with a disc so even if you still have the game disc you do not have to go through the trouble of finding the disc and putting it in the drive ever time you want to play the game.

Daily Definition- Cookie

A cookie is a set of data that a website server gives to a browser the first time the user visits the site, that is updated with each return visit. The remote server saves the information the cookie contains about the user and the user's browser does the same, as a text file stored in the Netscape or Explorer system folder. Depending on the type of cookie used and the browser's settings, the browser may accept or not accept the cookie, and may save the cookie for either a short time or a long time. Web servers can use cookies to keep track of how many times you've visited and when, and what sort of information you've been surfing for on their site. They can even use cookies to pass that information on to other web servers, such as advertisement servers. On the positive side, cookies can be used to store your own web site configuration, to remember items placed in your "shopping cart" at an online shopping site, or to store account and password information for subscription sites. Cookie data is never executed as code, so it can't contain viruses. Also, a cookie cannot be used to extract data from your system. Cookies are usually set to expire after a predetermined amount of time and are usually saved in memory until the browser software is closed down, at which time they may be saved to disk if their expire time has not been reached. There are also downloadable applications that eat cookies such as Cookie Killers, Cookie Monster (Mac), and Kill Cookie Batch File (PC). For maximum privacy, allow return of cookies to trusted sites only.

The Ultimate Protection

I have always thought that Norton or McAfee were the best Anti-Virus programs until i tried a free Anti-Virus program called AVG. I personally think that this is the best choice because it does not take as much RAM or CPU power as Norton or McAfee. It is also free and sometimes ill be playing my video games and it will be scanning in the background and i will not even notice a drop in performance.

I also would recommend Adaware which is also a free spyware and ad ware removal tool. There is one down fall to this program which is that the free version doesn't provide on site protection. In order to remove any junk from your computer you have to do a manual scan. But in the end it is worth it. These things are the only two kinds of software that you will need to protect your computer from viruses and spyware.

Tired Of Codecs Try VLC player

There is a video player that does not reqire any video codecs and it plays every file that i can think of. It can even play my blu-rau and HD movies. i have been using this and it replaces Windows media player, quicktime, real. etc...

Here is the Link to the File-it has no Viruses or Spyware
